The benefits have been covered before, but nobody spoke up and said they'd sponsor an ARC. Someone please tell me if I'm requesting this in the wrong way
I'd like to accomplish two things 1) Moving to grub2 for the numerous benefits list before. 2) Possibly get the zfs code committed upstream. This would probably require a copyright assignment be sent to the FSF if there isn't one on file already. afaik this boots freebsd with a zfs based rpool The current solaris holdup is in the handling of the kernel options.. http://repo.or.cz/w/grub2/phcoder.git Comments on both are most appreciated. ./C
