I'm just glad to see that someone has picked up the ball. Many of us use a
combination of OpenSolaris, Mac, BSD, and Linux. Having an open source file
system that has the simplicity of zfs available on all platforms would be
marvelous.

I've been playing with zfs on mac with an external drive and find it exciting.
It replaced the NTFS/Paragon driver disk I had been using to store my portable
things (like videos and music). I've lost several files because of silent fs
corruption on NTFS. I haven't had a single problem under ZFS and I've stressed
much harder than the ntfs disk.

That said, it's back at version 8. It would be nice to have a process make it
easy to keep up with the new zfs code bits in OpenSolaris.
