There are OpenSolaris project proposals from students that need a ZFS
aware mentor. Both need a mentor that understands the ZFS code base.
This does NOT need to be a Sun Employee and I know there are a growing
number of people out there that are familiar with the code base.
One proposal is to add a new compression method, the other is to port
ZFS to FUSE/Linux[1]
Both of these projects will need a mentor if we are to accept a student
for them.
