Ooops, already destroyed the pool. Anyway, slept a night over it and found a "maybe explaination": Files were created with mkfile an mkfile has an option -n. It was not used to create the files, however I interrupted mkfile (^C). So I guess, mkfile always creates a sparse file first, and when no '-n' is given, it starts to allocate the blocks ...
