NDMP does support more than just a blob of data. It can also supply position information for individual files within the blob, the ability to restore a subset of files, and the way to give position information for those files within the datastream. Right now I don't know that any of those features are available with zfs send/receive. -- Darren Dunham [EMAIL PROTECTED] Senior Technical Consultant TAOS http://www.taos.com/ Got some Dr Pepper?
