We use 3510 and 2540 arrays for Cyrus mail-stores which hold about 10K accounts each. Recommend going with dual-controllers though for safety. Our setups are really simple. Put 2 array units on the SAN, make a pair or RAID-5 LUNs. Then RAID-10 these LUNs together in ZFS.
