In May of last year dynamic LUN expansion went into OpenSolaris:

Has that been ported to Solaris 10 yet? (Don't see anything in the u5
or u6 notes about it.) If it hasn't, can anyone say if there any plans
to?
(There's also PSARC/2008/353: “zpool autoexpand property".)
