I'm wondering if anyone knows of any good guides on setting up users on
opensolaris and ZFS. Previously we were using Ext3 with LVM with Samba and
everyone had a samba account and /homes would be their home directory.
Can something like that (or better) be done in ZFS + CIFS on OpenSolaris
without needing an NT Domain etc?
We have about 60 users in total but 20 should be setup initially, they all need
access to a home folder to store their emails and access to shares (i've
created the group media) for their depatment. I think I've nailed the ACLs but
not sure about the user account process and home directories etc.
