The ZFS for Databases wiki is the place to collect information and advice for database on ZFS. http://www.solarisinternals.com/wiki/index.php/ZFS_for_Databases I notice that it is missing some later research results and will try to update it over the next few days. ZFS can perform better or worse than UFS.
