You found an end-of-service-life page which is fairly standard practice, then decided to freak out about it. http://www.sun.com/software/solaris/lifecycle.xml The reason there's an end of service page is because Oracle isn't going to be supporting 2009.06 for 30 years. I don't see how that lead you to the conclusion they're ending the opensolaris project, but that is one hell of a conclusion to jump to. --Tim
