You should simply boot from each disk, while the other disk is missing. That will prove it. Be aware: After booting from disk A without B, boot with both of them (so they can resilver) and then boot from disk B without A, and then boot from both again, so it can resilver again. Don't boot from A, and then boot from B, without resilvering in between.
