Other products in the same line are listed as compatible with reports they work 
fine, eg. HighPoint RocketRAID 642L. The only difference for that one being 2 
external eSATA ports too.

This one says Win and Linux, no OS X. Newegg probably has other cards that have 
stated OS X compatibility. Search "mac os x sata controller" for a start.
