Here's all the long description: DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES: -install, monitor, and coordinate all advanced data network related products and services -provide high level data circuit analysis and recommendations -provide level 2 and 3 support for service requests and trouble tickets -resolve problems of networking and connectivity issues -utilize diagnostic tools, packet sniffers or other network tools to provide a moderate level of analysis to efficiently and effectively analyze root cause service issues, recommend corrective action and document any design/procedure modifications -work w/ voice services team to provide support of VoIP initiatives -comply w/ ChangePoint, Remedy trouble ticketing systems and Change Management processes to track all activities associated w/ performing the duties of this position TECH ENVIRONMENT: -9,000 computers -CISCO IOS, CISCO routers from 2800-7206VXR, Windows, Oracle, SQL Server MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE REQUIREMENTS: -Bachelors degree -6 years of IT experience and 5 years experience in an enterprise network environment -CCNA and CCNP certifications -Excellent working knowledge and trouble shooting skills w/ routers and switches including CISCO IOS (very important) -Thorough understanding of OSI model -Experience w/ VoIP technologies -Skilled in network design of domestic and international LANs and WANs -Working knowledge of firewall technologies, rules, sets, and maintenance Required Skill : CISCO network administrator with CCNA & CCNP certifications, worked with CISCO/IOS.
