Job title: Sr. Technical Architect (with ETL) Location: Richardson, Texas Contract: 6 Months Job Description: Skills: Teradata, ETL, Oracle Loader, Ab Initio, PL/SQL, MLoad Technical Architect 5+ years working in Telecom. 4+ years experience creating data load programs using SQLLDR, Oracle Loader, and Ab-Initio tool. Experience working with Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g, and Teradata. Expert knowledge with ETL processing. Expertise with Oracle Performance Tuning. Proficient in Unix Shell Scripting. Experience with Teradata Utilities such as Fast Export, MLoad, BTEQ. Experience working with Call Detail Systems, SMS Systems, Billing Systems, Decision Support Systems, Accounting Systems and Data Warehouse. Knowledge of Journal Entry automation and PnL Driver creation processes. Proficient in Technical Data Analysis and Data auditing. Experience working with XML and XML Parsing and loading. Experience using Toad, PL/SQL Developer Experience with CRON and Maestro. Responsibilities: The Senior Technical Architect is responsible for the same activities as the Technical Architect but has a broader scope of responsibilities and more in-depth business and technical knowledge. Responsible for multiple projects or large complex projects with cross functional teams and business processes. Demonstrate expert knowledge in multiple technical and business functional areas as well as performing a larger leadership role in the organization. Apply broad in- depth business and technical knowledge to establish technical direction and priorities. Resolve and work on issues across multiple functional areas. Effectively monitor and take action to ensure coordination and effectiveness of all components and activities and decide on issues requiring escalation. Incumbents understand the system flow for a project throughout an entire functional area (e.g. Billing, Customer Care) not just a subsystem area.
