Position : Sr.JDE Functional for Manufacturing
Location: Houston Texas
Duration: 6 months contract
Five years experience in implementing EnterpriseOne software with the
ability to demonstrate a command of at least one or more modules within
EnterpriseOne (One World).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Confer with personnel of organization units to analyze
user requirements, procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input
and output requirements specific to manufacturing, such as shop floor
activities, work order processing, MRP and scheduling, BOM and routing setup
as well as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized, and formats
for reports to improve and enhance Client's business application software.
2) Create detailed Functional Design documents including
descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop
or modify applications. Develop test plan for programs to assure
functionality of the application.
3) Participate in development and maintenance of thorough,
up-to-date, functional and systems documentation, business process flow
diagrams and end user training material.
4) Coordinate with the Training Group and key application
users in maintaining an appropriate User Guide for end-user training and
on-going field reference.
5) Involved in the error correction and upgrade of the
applications as needed.
6) Participate in data conversion activities from "legacy"
systems during regional application rollout and in the case of

travel may be required for requirements definition and implementation

required within the physical constraints of this position.
Ø Solid experience in the major PC-based productivity
software applications including: spreadsheets, word processing, database
management, report-writing and basic telecommunications applications -
particularly, knowledge of the Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Word,
Outlook, PowerPoint, Project).
Ø Self-starter with solid interpersonal skills -
projecting a very positive, customer-service-oriented attitude. Able to
exercise sound business judgment and discretion - maintaining
confidentiality of sensitive information.
Ø Team player with strong verbal and written communication
skills - both from a functional and technical perspective. Comfortable
working in a "matrix-management" environment with numerous indirect and
project team reporting relationships.
Ø Ability to work both alone and as the leader, or member
of, a cross-functional project team with minimal supervision.
Ø Thrives on challenging working environment with many
simultaneous priorities. Effective time manager - routinely called on to
prioritize a large number of tasks and report on project status.
