Position: * ** Senior .Net Developer** (HOT)* Location: *Atlanta, GA* Duration: 3 months *Senior .NET Developer* This project is to automate the pesticide field inspection and office reporting. The license automation is also considered part of this project if time/funds allow. *Technologies Required:* - The *Microsoft .NET framework version 3.0 *or higher should be used for the development of this automation process. - Visual Studios 2008 and Team Foundation Server 2008 are the required development tools for this project. - The *MS Agile development approach* should be used for this project. - SQL Server 2005 (2008 compatible design) will be used for the data storage. - All development should follow the Microsoft Best Practices Guide and will be checked/reviewed by GDOA personnel. - US government experience is required (state or federal) Process description Field personnel use a combination of laptops and tablet computers to record inspection data in the field (all have stylus enabled screens). The data should be transmitted nightly to the main office for immediate reporting. Investigations/violations should be determined based on the data uploaded and an action item should be created for follow up (some inspections require a violation report be completed in the field).
