* Experience with OpenText and Banner are just luxury skills. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: 1. Review vendor documentation of ERP solution to determine what changes are needed in the ETL, warehouse db, and/or data models; make all necessary changes; test solution in coordination with user community, and document said changes. PSU supports SungardHE's ERP solution, Banner. We are upgrading, in March, to version 8.x which requires conversion to UTF8 from ascii and will involve changes to data field definitions. The data extract from Banner to the Data Warehouse, reports and data models need to be reviewed to ensure continued functionality with minimal interruption to users. This may require modifications to the extracts, the warehouse database, the model and potentially reports. The warehousing interface application is OpenText's BI-Query. 2. PSU has a list of user requests concerning reports: existing reports no longer functioning as intended, reports needing enhancements, and request for new reports. We would like to address a subset of these more complex requests. Skills programming in SQL, PL*SQL would be required. 3. The creation of a development warehouse OpenText application product. REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE: - advanced verbal and written communication; - ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users - group leadership and project management skills - ability to diagnose/resolve technical problems independently and to lead development and implementation of new and complex solutions. - programming with Oracle tools, SQL, PL*SQL, and with Unix shell scripting. - able to work with sensitive/confidential information and to handle such information as required by Federal, State, and OIT regulations/policies.
