Hello partner, Position – Cognos developer
Location – Chicago, IL Duration – 6 months Rate: $40/hr max in person needed after telephonic. I am looking for a very senior Cognos developer. There are multiple positions open. Following is the requirement. Deep hands-on experience (Series 8, Report Studio, Query Studio, Framework Manager, Cognos Connection, Event Studio, Metric Studio, Analysis Studio) with the Cognos reporting tool suite as both a developer and administrator; • Deep experience designing star schemas, cubes, metadata and drill-thru reports; • Deep database optimization and SQL tuning experience with DB2/UDB V9; • Experience in leveraging Cognos Security and the Software Development Kit (SDK) to customize reports and Web-based GUIs using JAVA; • Experience with Ab Initio; • Experience with the Rational Unified Process and associated SDLC technologies (i.e., Clear Case, ClearQuest, ReqPro, Rose and SODA); • Experience with the AIX Operating System; • Strong analytic, problem solving, and collaborative skills; • A degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience. -- Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
