Title : Cold Fusion Developer Location : Austin, TX Duration : 6-12+ Months Reply to me at:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Job Details: Technical Skills and Experience: The duties of the Developer will include, but are not limited to, performing the tasks listed below: Must have at least 7+ years of experience. Roles & Responsibilities: . Interviewing end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems, and/or usability issues. . Consistently writing, translating, and coding software programs and applications according to specifications. . Writing programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance of company applications as necessary. . Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software developers to assist in resolving problems with software products or agency software systems. . Designing, running and monitoring software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging. . Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas. . Generating statistics and write reports for management and/or team members on the status of the programming process. . Analyzing and assessing existing business systems and procedures. . Research, identify, analyze, and fulfill requirements of all internal and external program users. . Develop and maintain user manuals and guidelines. . Train end users to operate new or modified programs. . Install software products for end users as required. . Other duties as assigned. Worker Skills and Qualifications: Years Skills/Experience 7+ Experience developing web applications using object oriented analysis, design, and programming with ColdFusion. 7+ Experience and an understanding of coding methods and best practices. 7+ Experience developing test cases and test plans. 7+ Experience collaborating with developers, programmers, and designers in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications. 7+ Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. 6+ Experience developing SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers using Microsoft SQL Server 2005. This includes experience with select, insert, update, and delete queries. 6+ Experience working in a networked, multi-tiered architecture with Novell Netware, Apache Tomcat, Windows XP Pro, and Windows Server 2003. 5+ Experience developing XML data extraction and transfer programs. 5+ Developing web applications using object oriented analysis, design, and programming with Adobe Flex, Eclipse, and XML. 5+ Developing grant management system software. 3+ Using Xerox Docushare, Adobe LiveCycle, Citrix, VMWare, and/or Sage MIP.
