Hope you are doing well. *This is my direct-client opening for a Multiple Systems Admin - El Segundo, CA. This is a 3 Months contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE.* Note - My client is willing to do a phone interview followed by an in-person interview, but for non-local consultants, you must be able to fly down our consultant at your own cost to attend this in-person interview. *Job Responsibilities:* Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks including system installation, web/application server configuration, backup/recovery, system monitoring, troubleshooting, user administration and database administration. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required Performance of other activities as assigned by the Supervisor. *Prerequisites:* Understanding of Web based technologies and tools including Apache, Tomcat, BEA, Oracle DBMS, Veritas Backup Solutions, Microsoft Windows Server 2000-2003, Microsoft IIS, CVS, Linux, Kronos, CITRIX, SharePoint, OnBase, Hyperion Enterprise, and WebMethods. Understanding of business process and computer system design, testing and security methodologies. Strong interpersonal communications and decision making skills, Strong analytical and problem solving skills, Team player, highly motivated individual, Demonstrated leadership skills and capability to develop into a supervisory / management role Education – Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering (or equivalent) *Please complete the following skills-matrix and send back with your resume/response.
