*Duration:* 4 months *LOCATION*: Herndon, VA * * *They will accept H1-B individuals, however there is a much better chance of obtaining the position if they have their GC.* * * *Administer over 4 storage area networks.* -Troubleshoot any storage related issues with applications like SQL, VMWare ESX, file servers. -Effectively follow change management guidelines for all the changes made to the production and pre-production systems. -Lead initiative to develop scripts and other programs for proactive systems monitoring and maintenance. -Lead performance analysis and tuning of the database, application and storage systems. -Provide weekly reports for trending SAN environment health & usage. -Accountable to users for problems reported with storage and track those problems while working with the vendor for a resolution. -Responsible for managing installation & configuration with a complete set of implementation documentation. Requirements -5+ years of SAN and Storage Administration experience -3+ year of SAN &Storage design/architecture experience -3+ years of experience administering and monitoring HP EVA SAN. -Understanding of HP EVA SAN, array configurations, performance counters & monitoring. -Experience working with SAN monitoring tools like SRM, IBM Tivoli.
