The client strongly prefers LOCAL candidates but will consider others if they have VERY GOOD communications skills. * * *Job Description:* -Our client looking for 2-3 SQL DBA / Developers. Client is migrating from 2005 to 2008 and looking for seasoned SQL DBA Developers to write hard core SQL for ongoing enhancement and maintenance of their software products. *Profile:* Candidate must be a self-starter with demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to produce well written code of mid-level to advanced complexity. Candidate will be required to conform coding style to established development and architectural standards and philosophies for both new development, and maintenance development. In addition, candidate must be organized, thorough, personable, detail oriented and self-motivated. Candidate must be able to handle concurrent responsibilities and projects with limited supervision. Candidate must be able to thrive in an environment of rapid change, minimal structure, and high expectations. Candidate must possess a "can do" attitude, but know how to set limits, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple tasks and projects. As a Database Developer the candidate will be expected to gain detailed knowledge of broad areas of our product, in depth knowledge of our entire data model, and work to establish a high level of competence in assigned areas. The candidate must embrace new technologies and challenges.
