Minimum 8-10 years of experience is MUST.* Position Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree plus *8-10 years*experience. Description: Leads the design, testing, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's physical, relational, and object-oriented databases across multiple platforms and computing environments. Develops data architectures and database management policies and standards. Provides senior-level consulting services in the identification and resolution of database issues. Serve as a high-level resource on database management issues, and participate in the planning, design, and usage of data resources. The project is to enhance the agent desktop through a complete rewrite of the desktop application and a migration of the existing data into the new database. This role is to primarily design, convert, develop and support that migration from the current schema to the new schema. Other tasks include supporting the development team on all database related tasks ( changes, tuning, conversions). * * *• We are seeking an Oracle PL/SQL developer to participate on an active call center desktop project:* • Hands-on experience in developing stored procedures, conversion scripts, function, triggers and packages using PL/SQL. • Oracle 10g experience • Experience in Database Performance Tuning and Optimization • Some Data Modeling experience • Experience working in a Development, QA, Pre-Production Support and Production Support environments. Primary Responsibilities Include: Performing tasks related to logical and physical database design, data integration and database development using Oracle technology Providing database support and guidance to application developers Developing PL/SQL code (stored procedures, packages, triggers, check constraints, etc.) Consulting with development teams when errors require a change in instruction or sequence of operations or requires a redesign of the database Providing recommendations and implements procedures to maintain and enhance a stable database environment Leading complex, medium-sized Data-Management Projects Migration planning and execution from current to future-state models Designing components and performing complex Coding/Programming, De-bugging and Testing within a Data-Management system Thanks & Regards, Sandy Sr Technical Recruiter Global Computer Products Inc.
