Overall experience - 7+ Work Location: Jersey City, NJ Duration: 6 Month JOB DESCRIPTION Senior developer with good Crystal Report, PL/SQL, and Java/J2EE skills. Candidates should have solid experience working with Oracle stored procedures, functions, views and other database objects. The individual must be comfortable working as a developer in a UNIX environment. Experience with Perl, UNIX shell scripts and AutoSys is extremely helpful. Web development experience will also be helpful, as well as familiarity with MS Excel/VBA and XML. In addition to strong technical skills, this position requires prior experience working in the financial services industry. He/she will be asked to join a New Jersey based team that is currently responsible for building and supporting a Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse solution for various risk management functions. Good communication skills are required as he/she will be communicating directly with business users. Also, the individual must be willing to support the application during off hours if required. Travel to the Stamford office may be required up to twice a month. In addition to the mandatory requirements mentioned above knowledge of .Net and/or Sybase is a plus.
