*Duration: 2 years* *Rate: $35-$38/hr MAX* *Really want more Windows flavor over the Solaris* Network Engineers (10) - more *Windows and some UNIX* - 2 year contracts Project: The Data Center Migration project requires additional resources to build and configure servers (*UNIX and Windows*). Approximately 400 servers a month (both Windows and UNIX) will need to be built. All tasks have some amount of instruction available although improvements may be quickly recognized during training and/or sourcing engagement. Requirements: This team of 5 will be a blend of skills to cover the following technologies: * 95% of deployment requests involve the installation and configuration of * Netbackup* with approximately 90% requiring client installation and the other 10% requiring media server installation. *UNIX Server Deployment Resources:* * 100% involve the Solaris server build using a jumpstart facility, *Veritas * volume manager and file system installation and configuration * 100% involve the creation and configuration of a scheduling station through our Tivoli Workload infrastructure * 60% involve the provisioning of *SAN* attached storage and requires the activation of zones and enterprise disk subsystem *LUN* masking * 30% involve the creation and/or access to *NAS file shares.* * 10% involve the installation and configuration of *Veritas* *Cluster Server*. * 10% involve the installation and configuration of *Oracle database or Oracle RAC. * *WINDOWS Server Deployment Resources:* * 15% involve the creation and configuration of a scheduling station through our *Tivoli** Workload infrastructure * * 10% involve the installation and configuration of Microsoft Cluster Server * 10% involve the installation and configuration of *SQL server database. * * 10% involve the creation and/or access to *NAS file shares * * 10% involve the provisioning of *SAN* attached storage and activation of zones and enterprise disk subsystem LUN masking * 2% involve the *installation and configuration* of *SMS* *TRAINING * *Training will be for approximately 6-8 weeks with training to start mid-January, 2009 at client's Chicago Training Center.
