*Complete Description:*
The CM Senior Dimensions Architect will become fully familiar with all the
functional requirements of all the applications and will be responsible for
planning, managing, implementation and oversight of all Software Development
Lifecycle's (SDLC) and baselines. Reports directly to the Group Manager for
Configuration Management
The Configuration Management (CM) program will architect and implement
Configuration Management methodologies from emerging ITIL 3 principles
within the District of Columbia as it relates to Service Management. It will
interface with the Remedy ITSM suite (Help Desk, Change Management, Asset
Management, and Service Level Agreement) along with Merant's Dimensions
(Version Control , Change Control and Build/Release Management). These tools
provide an integrated methodology and process to trace code baselines and
change requests to baselines and code. This system will provide capabilities
to standardize reporting requirements via the web. This program has been
scoped over multiple phases. Each solution for agencies are custom and
require extensive knowledge of general network architecture and the SDLC
process.
