The tester will report software problems and track resolution. The candidate should understand software development and have some experience as a developer or tester and is expected to attend requirements and design reviews. This role will include working closely with the requirements analysts to ensure the functionality is tested thoroughly, working with development team to communicate problem reports, and working with client to communicate test status for his area. Experience at test automation is a plus. Must Haves: Ability to test a complex system; ability to learn the client's business processes. Excellent communication skills. Nice to Haves: knowledge of rational toolset (Clearquest, Test Manager) or a similar toolset. Experience at test planning, test case writing and execution.
