The principal function of the Web Designer is to be part of a team that applies knowledge of web design to build and deliver custom websites and on-line advertisements (e.g., banner ads) for customers. This includes supporting: b.. Website design services c.. Logo design / development d.. Banner design / development e.. Rich media ad design / development f.. The Web Designer is responsible for working with clients and software developers to build custom websites. This includes producing design comps or website prototypes as guidance, assisting in the QA and final review of the actual websites before they are published. g.. Additional requirements include: h.. Analyze and document user requirements. i.. Maintain and update new and existing customer websites j.. Acquire and maintain knowledge of current standards, policies and procedures k.. Proven ability to partner with various groups within an organization such as Marketing, Sales and IT to build consensus, gather and execute requirements d.. Highly proficient in programs including Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. e.. Familiarity with Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Flash development a plus. f.. Familiarity with HTML and CSS coding a plus. g.. Experience with Photoshop for image preparation, optimization, and building templates from original designs h..
