Experience implementing Software Development Life Cycle (*SDLC*) procedures, source code control and change management procedures for software development. ¨ Experience writing stored procedures, triggers, views, and database security. Knowledge of T-SQL queries for high performance OLTP database applications. ¨ Database modeling experience using tools like ERWIN, ER-Studio and other SQL Server Diagramming tools/utilities. Thorough knowledge and understanding of RDBMS principles, SQL concepts and normalization and de-normalization procedures. ¨ Experience working with database developers, administrators and other engineering and technical teams in resolving technical issues related to the design, analysis, administration & support of database systems for development, test and production environments. ¨ Experience working with application support and integration teams to thoroughly verify and validate data in test and production databases. ¨ Experience in creating and scheduling DTS, and SSIS jobs to load and transform transactional data from different file formats and from different source systems. ¨ Database administration skills like backup/recovery and creating job schedule agents to perform automated backups.
