Required Skills:
- Oracle, SQL, PHP5
- 5 to 10 years professional web development experience developing financial
software, calculators, calculation engines, financial planners, application
builders, etc.
- Strong analysis, design and implementation experience utilizing Web 2.0
technologies and relational database management systems.
- Experience with PHP5, JavaScript and libraries/frameworks (Prototype,
Scriptaculous, YUI, etc.), AJAX, HTML, CSS, SQL.
- Broad knowledge of hardware, including mainframe, UNIX and network
technologies.
- Broad knowledge of software, including Web servers, middleware, database
servers, portal software, security software, PC and server based software and
packages.
- cellent oral and written communication skills.
Desired/Optional Skills:
- Experience with PHP extensions and frameworks (PEAR, PECL, AOC,
Zend, CakePHP, Symfony), Smarty, JSON, agile development//XP practices, OO
design principles and patterns, secure coding best practices, UML,
Flash/ActionScript, SiteMinder, and database encryption.
- Experience with developing enterprise applications sing various
other technologies also a plus
Duties/Activities:
- Responsible for the development of Web-based financial planning
software in a team environment.
- Actively participate in all phases of the development cycle
including implementation and maintenance.
