This is my direct client opening for DIACAP Compliance Network Assessment Consultant -* *Middletown, CT*.** This is a 3+ months Contract position.**The hourly rate is DOE. * Skills: CISCO Firewall (PIX), Virtual Private Network (VPN), Access Point, Router, and Switch Internet Operating System (IOS) Experience Description: Staff Augmentation role to assist IT Department with the analysis of client*s existing network controls compared to the Defense Information Assurance Certification Accreditation Process (DIACAP) Regulations. Consultant will become part of the existing team and take day- to- day direction from the Project Coordinator. - 1. Compare Clients Enterprise network IT infrastructure environment to DIACAP Regulations and document compliance through explanations and relevant screen shots. - 2. If identified controls do not comply with information assurance standards, the consultant, will research and document the compensating controls that the client has established that will constitute DIACAP compliance. - 3. If compensating controls are not in place the consultant will prepare a remediation plan with time lines to meet DIACAP compliance. - 4. Take direction from Network Engineering Team as defined by the project coordinator Document all requirements according to company standards Meet individual project deadlines and milestones according to project dates and timeliness - 5.
