The technical writers should have served as an SAP Technical Writer on at least three SAP documentation projects. * * *Technical Writer Tasks:* The technical writers, who will report to the Document and Training Analyst, will be required to: - Review existing documentation with Process Owners and SAP Business Analysts - Update documentation based on input from Process Owners and SAP Business Analysts - Update documentation based on changes as a result of ECC 6.0 upgrade - Review documentation updates with Process Owners and SAP Business Analysts - Obtain sign off from Process Owners - Provide weekly status * * *Technical Writer Software Skills:* The technical writers should have the following experience - Intermediate to advanced experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) version 2003 or higher - Beginning to intermediate experience in MS Office (Visio) version 2003 or higher - Beginning to intermediate experience with Snag-it version 8.2.3 or higher *Background:* Client has implemented SAP in January 2007. This implementation included the following modules: MM, SD, FI, CO, PS, HR, Payroll, CATS, BI. In 2008, client has implemented the PP, QM, WM, and DM modules they are now in the process of upgrading to ECC 6.0 and is in need of bringing the existing documentation up to date.
