Background
The client has begun utilizing Microsoft's SharePoint version 2007 and a
Bluespring Workflow product. Both of these products utilize InfoPath and other
Web forms. Existing forms need to be rewritten in ASP.NET and all new forms
will be developed in ASP.NET.
In addition to development of ASP.NET forms the developer will provide
analytical support for conceptualization, development and implementation of
complex systems of multiple inter-linked programs in a client/server
environment. The developer is expected to posses an in-depth knowledge of all
phases of client/server applications technology. He/she will be responsible for
the analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing and documentation of computer
programs. Extensive knowledge and skill with object-oriented programming,
relational database structures and Structured Query Language (SQL) is required.
Goals
Rewrite existing web form in ASP.NET.
Develop new ASP.NET forms.
Provide assistance to SharePoint and Workflow developers in the use and
implementation of the ASP.NET forms.
Develop, test, demonstrate, implement and document ASP.NET applications.
Tasks
1. Work with the other team members and user representatives to develop
creative application solutions to support business requirements.
2. Test the applications in both a unit test environment and in a
production environment.
3. Provide assistance to SharePoint and Bluespring developers in the
implementation process.
4. Provide documentation on the developed applications.
5. Provide assistance and support on an as needed basis.
6. Perform other sundry duties as required.
