Functions: Technical expert in IT organization; coaches and mentors more
junior technical staff; provides input into highly complex and high
impacting decision as it relates to area of expertise.

General Characteristics
 Responsible for enterprise-wide data design, balancing optimization of data
access with batch loading and resource utilization factors.
 Knowledgeable in most aspects of designing and constructing data
architectures, operational data stores, and data marts.
 Focuses on enterprise-wide data modeling and database design.
 Defines data architecture standards, policies and procedures for the
organization, structure, attributes and nomenclature of data elements, and
applies accepted data content standards to technology projects.
 Responsible for business analysis, data acquisition and access analysis and
design, Database Management Systems optimization, recovery strategy and load
strategy design and implementation.

Education: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information
Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience

**10 years expert analytical skills required**
IT  Process Expert needed to assist in determining the maturity level and
overall operational effectiveness of the IT organization.  The work will
require the performance of interviews with specific IT stakeholders, the
collection, validation and analysis of relevant data (including cost and
performance metrics), mapping and analysis of current processes, review of
deployed technologies and alignment to stakeholder requirements and industry
best practices.  This assistance will include production of reports and
recommendations (as applicable) to address any gaps observed.  At a minimum,
the assistance will include the following assessment reports:

 An Operational Effectiveness Report (including an ITIL process
implementation assessment);
 A Quality of Service and Capacity for Improvement Report (including a
performance metrics reporting and methods review);
 A Stakeholder IT Requirements Assessment (including an Objectives &
Priorities Ranking);
 A Services Management Report and Organizational Maturity Review;
 A Cost of Service Delivery Assessment (including identification of
minimization opportunities); and,
 An Executive Summary and Corrective Action Plan (including a detailed
Options Plan to address recommendations arising from GAP analysis).

In developing each of the deliverables, the unique characteristics of the
current environment will need to be recognized and addressed as a component
/factor in the listed reports and any recommendations.  The maturity of the
organization will be determined in terms of vision and strategy, steering,
processes, people, technology
