Responsibilities will include requirements analysis, Web pages design and development using JSP, Java scripts, HTML, Strut framework, Hibernate, etc. The candidate will be responsible for configuring and maintaining Apache Tomcat Web server running on Windows. The new hire will also be involved in unit testing, integration testing, feature testing and Regression testing of web interfaces. Additional responsibilities include preparing SOX documents and documenting code in user readable format. The person should have good communication skills, be a quick learner, be able to manage priorities with multitasking abilities, and good team player. *Minimum Professional and Technical Skills:* Strong knowledge of JAVA web technologies including JSP, Strut framework, Hibernate, Java scripts, JDBC etc. must. CVS and Eclipse IDE, Java JDK 1.5, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, XML, XSLT, and DHTML, Apache HTTP, Jakarta Tomcat, and Windows and/or Linux knowledge is required Experience working on Tomcat web server. Strong understanding of threads, Basic knowledge RDBMS and JDBC. Working knowledge of SQL. Experience with XML related technologies. Securities and Trading industry experience a plus. Strong knowledge of testing on Windows platform. Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
