Candidates in and around CA required. Basic/Minimum Qualifications: . Bachelors degree required, preferably with emphasis in computer sciences, Information Systems, Engineering, HealthCare or Medical Informatics. . Must have at least 10 years experience in Informatica. Strong experience in data integration, data warehousing and ETL is a must. . Have developed standards and practices for Informatica installation, administration, backup & recovery, design features and functionality of Power center and related modules. . Can provide guidelines and help for setup, configuration, management and support of Informatica platforms across multiple locations. Provided training and support to customers/users and can act as a Subject matter expert in this area. Acts as a technical lead and mentor to the Platform Data Integration group. Familiarity with the following concepts is a must a.. Dimensional Modeling b.. Data warehousing architecture c.. Oracle d.. Excellent problem resolution and analysis skills. e.. Must be able to present complex data/concepts in a clear, understandable, and meaningful way for reporting to upper management. f.. Strong written and verbal communications skills, including effective meeting management; prepare and present (PowerPoint/Visio); documentation templates for various procedures when needed. g.. Good analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. h.. Able to work well as part of a team as well as be self-motivated. i.. Must be open to flexible work schedule to remain in-step with project and organizational needs. Preferred Qualifications: a.. Healthcare industry technology/standards and emergent technologies preferred. b.. Familiarity with at least one major EMR/EHR vendor product, e.g. Epic c.. Familiarity with Intersystem Cache DBMS is a plus. d.. Clinical Data Model e.. Consulting experience is preferred. f.. Experience working in a matrix environment preferred.
