SAP ABAP DEVELOPER Customer Care & Service (CCS) 

Experience, Education, and Capabilities: 
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 
4-8 years ABAP or ABAP OO programming experience delivering Forms, Reports, 
Interfaces and Enhancements 
In depth knowledge of ABAP workbench, data dictionary, debug tools and ABAP 
Significant experience with SAP Script, BAPIs, IDOCs , ALE, BDCs and Workflow 
Knowledge and experience working in one or more of the following SAP modules: 
Experience with R3 version 4.6C or above required, preferably in the Utility 
industry solution 
Skilled in application design, development & test methodologies and processes. 
Can perform high and low level code design walkthroughs 
Experience with SAP XI, Web AS and MQ Series 
Develop and Maintain UNIX Scripts 
Working knowledge of integration points between and within modules / systems 
Develop ABAP code for CCS and CRM modules 
Experience in providing end-user support services for an SAP ERP or similar 
computing environment 
Capable of understanding, revising, and implementing prescribed changes to an 
SAP computing environment, following ITIL or similar service support processes 
Time management and multi-tasking capability 
Proven problem determination and analysis skills 
Ability to learn and apply new technologies 
Knowledgeable in Project Management methodology 
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision 
Knowledge of service support processes including the knowledge of when to 
escalate issues 
Good analytical skills 
Effective oral and written communication skills 
Ability to work effectively on cross functional teams, including coordination 
with end users and external consultants as necessary 
Ability to consistently demonstrate and maintain a high level of accuracy and 
Proficiency with desktop business applications, including Excel and Word 
Ability to work extended hours if necessary including frequent on-call duty 
Ability to travel if necessary for training or other business requirements (< 
Preferred, but not required: 
Experience working in the Utility industry 
One full lifecycle SAP implementation 
Solid knowledge of relational databases 
General duties and responsibilities include: 
Receive, assess, and ensure resolution of break-fix and usability tickets 
submitted by users 
Support QA testing activities including unit, integration, and regression / 
negative testing 
Maintain update-to-date functional knowledge relating to exchanges of 
information between various interfaced systems 
Participate as active team member in coordinating new interfaces 
Stay abreast of the latest SAP developments and/or information related to 
modules, support packs, OSS notes relevant for client's 
Assist Basis teams and business units in supporting (routin) daily ad monthly 
transaction / batch processing 
Assist ongoing maintenance, planning, and testing of disaster recovery / 
business continuity activities 
Log and track problem and development requests including message handling and 
dispatching, resolution tracking, and problem escalation 
Analyze and resolve potentially complex application / system issues 
Utilize a variety of resources to resolve questions and problems, including 
working with consultants, self help, ASUG networks, OSS, etc
