The OMS/DMS IT Integration Specialist will deliver innovative technical consulting in the areas systems integration and application design to develop integration solutions and architecture for an Outage & Distribution Management System package solution(s) for our client. Experience with Oracle's Outage and Distribution Management System (NMS), previously owned by CES. Experience will include understanding of the data structure and interfacing with enterprise applications for NMS 1.x. This includes working closely with the client IT team to: Confirm the infrastructure meets the overall project specifications Select proper tools to optimize the development activities Define the system performance and stress testing procedure Required skills: Technical Experience: Demonstrated success in previous Applications Architect roles Minimum 5 years of experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) architecture & full life cycle development projects Significant experience with Object-Oriented techniques, Web Services and N-tier architectures Experience developing enterprise architecture strategy, contributing to standard architecture and design practices Implementation or Integration with BEA Platform Experience with WebLogic Integration (WLI), Enterprise Service Bus ASLB & Oracle DBMS (Preferable) Excellent experience in architecture and multi-tier object-oriented application environment Knowledge & experience in developing detailed requirements, and design Multi-platform (Windows 2003 & AIX 5.3) software development and deployment experience Ability & desire to work in dynamic team environment Industry Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Utility Industry Projects in one or more of the following project categories OMS/DMS/EMS (Outage Management System, Distribution Management System, Energy Management System) implementations. Integration or conversion projects with GIS (Geographic Information System) with ESRI or Work Management Systems.
