We are seeking an Infrastructure Architect for customer support. We Do NOT need a UNIX Systems Administrator but more of an engineer type with a Linux and Solaris background vs. an operations resource. The main focus is more on the consulting/architect role with an extensive engineering focus who can be comfortable in the implementation and support phases. The resource will need to tell the client how to do things procedural-wise and architectural-wise. They want a hands-on engineer, someone who can build-out their environment. Their Data Center has a network but no servers and they need a resource to tell them what they should do first. The person should have RedHat Linux experience. This engineering focus would be able to provide input on the Solaris and RedHat Linux architectural direction to the other SME workstream leads. This is a highly technical type of person that can be highly flexible.
