This is for my direct client opening for *Data Center Operations (NOC) Specialist - Woonsocket, RI*. This is a *12 Months contract* position. *Description:* Document and maintain current Data Center inventory. Understand and document the current and future cabling requirements. Develop plans for migrating the operations staff and plans that assist in managing the two environments during the migration phase. Understand and document operational processes and tape handling procedures. Work with the Project Manager and Data Center Management staff to develop the proper set of operational tasks and procedures necessary to facilitate a smooth customer migration. Uses monitors, dashboards and carious tools to proactively maintain the health and usability of business systems and platforms. Analytical skills with systems, networks and databases. Builds operational procedures and run tools for troubleshooting, diagnosing and maintaining production systems. Recommend additional diagnostic tools, instrumentation, and alerting capabilities based on reoccurring production support patterns.
