Updating existing DDL code to comply with client defined standards. Test and implement the DDL using a sub-set of production level data, if available, or test data. This ensures the design is functional and ready to receive production data. Ensure all DDL scripts are ready for review and deployment to the QA and Production systems. Assist in the physical design that will be transferred into executable Data Definition Language (“DDL”) code. They will use Teradata and Industry Best Practices for the physical database design, modeling, and build. The person should have the following skills: Proven experience in Database Modeling with Teradata V2R5 Extensive knowledge with Teradata SQL Assistant, Fast Export, Fast Load, Multiload, BTEQ.
