*Location: McLean , VA (Locals to DC, VD, MD)* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Rate: Best* Prior work with a team of * C# .Net 2.0 Framework developers*, *Business Objects* and *WebLogic Portal products* a required. *Two Oracle Developer/DBA resources:* Description: An individual with 3 years of experience working across the entire software development life cycle with specific knowledge and expertise using the Oracle DBMS 10g. Specific duties involve working with the existing DBA Team to develop and maintain data models, stored procedures, and PL/SQL scripting support developers and testers by helping prepare data extracts and helping to identify and resolve specific database related technical issues and perform various administrative activities such as creating users, resolving defects, troubleshooting performance issues and identifying overall data and database improvements. Candidate must be a self-starter and capable of working with little direction and supervision. Must also have UNIX background and capable of supporting automation of processing/load scripts in an HP-UX or Solaris environment.
