DESCRIPTION This is a description for a Cognos Lead on the Global Workforce Analytics (GWA) team. The role of the Cognos developer is to facilitate requests made by the users of the Workforce Reporting and Analytics system and to resolve technical issues. The Cognos developer should have a good understanding of the HR Analytics system. The Cognos developer has a strong technical background in Cognos 8: Dimensional Query Building in Report Studio; Analysis Studio; Report Studio. The Cognos developer can easily troubleshoot report issues and can work with the technology support professionals to resolve system issues in a timeline that meets business deadlines. Responsibilities: Day to day responsibilities include: 1) Satisfy urgent, ad-hoc report studio report requests. 2) Satisfy urgent, ad-hoc analysis studio report requests. 3) Troubleshoot existing report issues. 4) Create/test/deploy new Dimensional Query reports in Report Studio. 5) Create/test/deploy new Analysis Studio reports. 6) Create/test/deploy new Report Studio reports.
