SAP HR Testing Analyst Position 


Location: Jacksonville, FL; New Brunswick, NJ


Duration: 3 months contract


 

JOB SUMMARY:

*       A minimum of 2 to 3 years of SAP HR testing and/or functional
experience is required.
*       SAP HR experience needed includes OM, PA, Payroll, Benefits, Leave
Administration, Compensation, Interfaces, and Global Mobility (specific
resource numbers for each service category are detailed in later sections).
Other SAP HR module knowledge/ experience including Portal integration with
ESS/MSS and SAP BI are advantageous.
*       Proven experience in QA Testing and HR application testing 
*       Proficiency in using Mercury Quality Center for Test Scripts, Test
runs and Defect Management 
*       Pro-active and result oriented 
*       Experience in interpreting Design Specs and writing Test Cases
(positive and negative) 
*       Ability to interact with business partners and Client demonstrating
a collaborative attitude is essential.
*       SAP ECC6.0 experience is strongly preferred although ECC5.0 may be
considered. 


Expectation of Role: 


This position is responsible for creating clear and complete test cases of
varying complexity; executing tests; measuring expected and actual results;
and reporting status ensuring accurate coverage of requirements; business
rules; client-requested scenarios and problem resolution.


 

.         Create/execute test cases of varying complexity which includes the
analysis of Functional Design Documents (FDDS). 

.         Liaise with the Client, Design and Build teams, and Third Party
Vendors for interfaces from/to SAP HR. 

.         Use Mercury Quality Center as the main platform for test
execution, test documentation, and for logging defects. 

.         Perform data selection/setup and creation in SAP HR to ensure
timely and adequate testing. 

.         Analyze a problem to assess whether code, environment, or data is
the root cause. 

.         Provide detailed issues documentation and test cases to satisfy
requirements for proof of testing, as applicable. 

.         Identify the severity of issues and escalate jeopardy items to
appropriate personnel. 

.         Provide proof of testing to demonstrate that functionality has
been tested according to requirements. 

.         Responsible for executing test cases, analyzing and documenting
test output and managing resulting defects through re-testing cycles. 

.         Manage testing defects and coordinate resolution with development.


.         Work with client during testing, as applicable.
