Send the best profile to [email protected] or call me at 818 630 5730 Location: Harrisburg, PA Duration: 6 months Rate : $37/hr on C2C Short Description: The DBA will assist PDE’s database administrators with data analysis and database management for PDE’s SQL Server databases Short Description: The DBA will assist PDE’s database administrators with data analysis and database management for PDE’s SQL Server databases Complete Description: "DBA 3- Years of Experience: 5 plus years Education:4 year college degree or equivalent technical study Role Description: Perform database management activities using Microsoft SQL Server Clean up retired PAsecureIDs in PDE's data warehouse (PIMS) Create and run SQL scripts in support of the effort to clean up professional personnel IDs and associated demographic data Assist with database tasks required to validate and assign professional personnel IDs for early learning network teachers/staff Create and run SQL scripts to perform deletes in PDE's data warehouse (PIMS) Clarify delete requests from educational entities via email or telephone Design and review logical and physical data models Follow and help enforce established PDE database standards. Support the application system development life cycle Perform data analysis and correction activities Perform data migrations from one database structure to another Use SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) Review and migrate stored procedures Monitor database performance and space requirements. Analyze and resolve database performance issues Assist with conversions from SQL 2000 to SQL 2005 Maintain database access security and database integrity Conduct work in a team environment Use strong communication skills; both written and spoken Execute all responsibilities with little direct supervision from Section Chief Determine time estimates and schedule for own work Manage and report time spent on all work activities.
