Requirements: Looking for a candidate with strong SQL skills who will be
able to administer the database, review the integrity of the database making
sure it is optimized.
Ø 70 % of this role is DBA focused (backup-restores, replication,
clustering, log shipping, mirroring, etc).
Ø 20-30% of this position will be development in SQL or T-SQL (for
monitoring and troubleshooting aspects)
Ø Knowledge of SQL 2008 is a plus.

Ø T-SQL and Stored Procedure creation
Ø Schema management
Ø DB related file system management
Ø Clustering administration

Ø Database mirroring
Ø .NET CLR in SQL and Service Broker
Ø Shared 24X7 support
Ø Interfacing with different business groups including IT and Developers
Ø Assists in the development of local support of production databases.
Ø Manages resources, coordinates and participates in activities associated
with Production SQL Servers.
Ø Provides assistance in resolving problems with production SQL Server
databases and tracking SQL Server problems
Ø Experience in supporting large database systems with high transactional
volume is preferable
