Position: *Informatica* Application Developer Industry: Insurance Responsibilities / Job Description: o Candidate will work on developing *Informatica* maps and workflows. o Work could involve the use of Unix and Linux scripting and SQL. o Developer will be responsible for designing *Informatica* maps and workflows from data mapping specifications. o Developer will also responsible for development and unit testing maps and workflows, and participating in production deployment. o The project will involve creating *Informatica* maps to move multiple data sources to an Oracle Data Staging database. o The staging database will be used to create a data warehouse. o Source system data will exist in flat files, Oracle and SQL Server. o The staging and warehouse databases will be built using *Informatica**s PowerCenter (8.1.1) ETL tool, stored on an Oracle database on a Linux server.
