Candidates who have direct experience working with the following platforms and technologies are preferred (in order): *Blue Coat systems, NetApp NetCache , Check Point Firewall, Sun Java System Web Proxy (formerly Sun ONE Web Proxy), Squid Proxy, BIND (DNS)* All candidates are expected to have good written and oral communications skills and would typically have at least 5-7 years of IT experience. Day-to-day duties will mostly involve consulting on various internal projects/efforts pertaining to proxy services. There will also likely be some hands-on work required for testing and implementation of configuration changes within our supported proxy infrastructure as needed to support the connectivity requirements. The split on that will likely be 80/20 or thereabouts with the bulk of the work being placed on leveraging their technical skills in a consulting/design-engineering role followed by the execution of said design.
