Please forward the resumes to a...@nexgenb.com <a...@nexgenb.com> *Position: DATA WAREHOUSE CONSULTANT* Location: Bridgeport, CT ( Local to Tri State ) Duration: 4+ months Status: H-1B *The DATA WAREHOUSE CONSULTANT will lead the analysis, design, and development of the ETL and OLAP components of our warehouse and as needed migrate ETL from DTS/Transact-SQL to SQL 2005 SSIS and OLAP 2005. ***Emphasis in OLAP. * The warehouse consultant is expected to produce the migration plan, and to track timelines and deliverables in accordance to plan, and well as engage members of our BI team in design sessions, and share knowledge with team members. The ideal candidate will also coordinate development activities and produce test plans as well as production migration scripts. Produce/maintain documentation according to our life cycle methodology. Must be accustomed to working in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities. *Technical Knowledge:* *3 or more years of experience planning, organizing, designing, developing, and deploying ETL/OLAP processes for an enterprise class data warehouses in SQL 2005 SSIS. *Experience in designing scalable ETL streams that are sensitive to high/changing data volumes. *Expert in SQL Server 2000 DTS, and in SQL 2005 SSIS ETL technology specifically. *Working knowledge of Transact-SQL, triggers, stored procedures and functions *Working knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services cubes (2000 and 2005) including design and development. *Experienced in data warehousing methodologies and their implementations *Working knowledge of the full SDLC process; analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. *Banking industry warehouse development experience is a plus. Other Qualifications - Excellent organizational and communication skills. - Ability to work independently, while performing well within teams. - Solid MS Office skills.
