As a starting point I found: https://live.gnome.org/GTK%2B/OSX/Building#Prerequisites https://live.gnome.org/GTK%2B/OSX/Bundling
First step will be to build it and then check how to bundle it so its easy to install. Difficulty will be the Snow leopard/Lion/Mountain lion differences. As I am running Mountain Lion I will first try mountain lion.
